Working with our Community!

This afternoon, Town Hall NBO's (Dayo and Jonny) visited the Manchester Craft and Design Centre to discuss a recent increase in ASB, in and around the Centre. 

Ideas were discussed and advice was shared on how best to deal with problematic individuals. Many businesses, along with the Craft and Design Centre, have reported the rise in ASB and this is consistent with the data and information we are seeing.  

Unfortunately, a few individuals are engaging in aggressive, abusive and disorderly behaviour in the area and this is frankly unacceptable. We know first hand that the community in the Northern Quarter is kind and understanding, and will always go the extra mile to help those in need or less fortunate. Nevertheless, this does not give people license to be abusive, aggressive and vulgar to others.

Along with partners in Manchester City Council we remain committed to tackling ASB and any other issues that the community raises in the Northern Quarter to the best of our ability.
